Calls for Research Papers and TRED Talks
The SAP University Alliances community invites scholars, educators, and practitioners to submit research papers and TRED talks for the SAP Academic Conference. This event brings together researchers and lecturers from business schools, computer science and information systems departments, engineering programs, and industry partners. The Research Committee invites the community to contribute through two possible submission options: (1) research papers or (2) TRED Talks. The submission guidelines for each option are detailed below.
1- Research Paper Submission
We welcome short research papers presenting empirical findings, conceptual models, or case analyses related to enterprise systems and the SAP ecosystem. Submissions should offer novel insights, advance scholarly debates, and explore cutting-edge topics at the intersection of enterprise systems, digital transformation, and business innovation.
Submission Guidelines:
- Paper length: 3–5 pages including title page, figures, tables, and references
- Format: Academic style (APA or similar), PDF, 12-pt font
- Submission type: Completed research, research-in-progress, or pedagogical innovations
- Review process: Double-blind peer review
- Audience: Academics, researchers, instructional faculty, and industry collaborators

We invite submissions on a wide range of topics relevant to SAP and enterprise systems research, particularly those aligned with business-school, computer science and engineering scholarship:
- ERP Systems and Digital Transformation
- Implementation, Adoption, and Change Management
- Generative AI and Enterprise Systems
- Business Analytics, Predictive Models, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Process Automation, RPA, and Intelligent Enterprise Technologies
- Cloud ERP, Platformization, and Integration Architectures
- Sustainability, ESG Reporting, and SAP’s Green-Ledger Ecosystem
- Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and SAP Digital Supply Chain
- Human Capital Management and Digital Workforce Enablement
These submissions should follow this template.
All full research papers/research-in-progress will be double-blind peer-reviewed.
2- TRED Talks Submission - Practical Innovations for Integrating SAP Technologies in University
The SAP University Alliances community invites instructors, educational innovators, and academic researchers to submit proposals for the upcoming TRED Talks (Teaching Research in Education). These short-format presentations highlight practical, classroom-ready teaching innovations that enable students to learn with and through SAP technologies.
TRED Talks are designed to support instructors who seek actionable ideas that can be adopted immediately in their courses. Proposals should prioritize clear pedagogical value, transferability across programs, and demonstrated impact on student learning.
Submission Guidelines:
- Length: 3–5 pages (including title page and references)
- Focus: Pedagogical innovation, classroom implementation, or teaching case
- Format: PDF, academic style (APA or similar)
- Submission types: Innovative classroom activities, engaging teaching experiments, course redesigns, assessment innovations, experiential learning.
- Review process: Peer review emphasizing practicality, clarity, and replicability
- Audience: University instructors in business, IS, engineering, and applied disciplines
