XXVIII Mexican Congress of Robotics (COMRob 2026)
Call for Papers
The Mexican Association of Robotics and Industry (AMRob) and Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico City are pleased to invite students, faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals to submit their contributions to the XXVIII Mexican Congress of Robotics (COMRob 2026), which will take place in Mexico City from October 26–28, 2026, hosted at Universidad Iberoamericana.

About COMRob 2026
COMRob 2026 aims to promote and disseminate advances in robotics research, education, technological development, and industrial applications. The congress brings together students, researchers, and professionals from various academic and industrial backgrounds to present recent results and technological innovations.

Review Process
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by August 28, 2026. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the work orally.
Best Paper Awards
Selected papers will compete for the Dr. Rafael Kelly Award, based on their technological contribution to robotics. To be eligible, the paper must be presented by a student author listed as the first author. Awards will be granted in both Undergraduate and Graduate categories.
Additionally, the M.Sc. Javier Campos Award will recognize the best student paper focused on applied robotics in industry. The student must be the first author and present the paper at the conference.
Publication
With the release of this Call for Papers, the conference will initiate the process with IEEE for selected and highly rated papers to be considered for submission to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
